It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even operate whatsoever lest this board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The control board is designed to control the gas valve, the igniter, all the sensors and the blower all together. A matching board will need to pair with the part number from both the make and model of the unit you have installed. It is imperative that you select wisely when you decide to replace your control board due to the many differences between heating and cooling systems.
Major clues of a bad main circuit board
- The heating and cooling system does not operate well
- The HVAC system needs to be reset many times a day for the thermostat to kick in
