A transformer is commonplace in many manufactured goods which includes your forced air system and it converts the electrical output from one voltage to another. Heating and cooling transformers could have a certain criteria so make sure you meet the voltage and amperage needs. If a replacement is necessary, then make sure you buy the one that is rated for the correct voltage that is required.

- System transformer physically appears cracked or you might notice sparking while in use
- Many different volts is determined across the system transformer
- Zero power evaluated leaving the HVAC transformer for whatever reason
