Carrier 38HDC036 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heating area that determines when the heated air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What happens when my critical limit switch needs replacing?
- The HVAC system begins to runs spotty often
- Your Carrier system will not even start or run for any length of time
