Carrier 38HDR030 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is responsible for cooling the outdoor compressor, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat that needs to be dissipated. The motor can be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this may make it a lot easier and will reduce the costs you need to pay. Be certain you find one with the voltage that is the same and amperage listed as it is on the current motor.
Some clues of a weak cooling fan motor
- The motor smells burnt or shorts out while in use
