Carrier 38TPA042 Cooling Fan Blade
The fan blade for the outdoor portion of a split system is dutied with dissipating the enormous amounts of heat energy that is released. Because the blade is always in the elements they can break down over the summer for whatever reason.
Clues the cooling blade will need replacing
- The fins of the blade appears potted or bent from being outside
- The entire blade is out of balance as it is spun and trying to cool the compressor
- The edge of the blade is chipped or ravaged for some reason
