The defrost sensor control board controls if and when to commence the defrost sequence which helps to remove frost build-up that may accumulate. The board relies on a specific sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to agree when to initiate the defrosting cycle.

- Defrost mode never initiates even though there is a large amount of frost on the unit
