Carrier 38TRA036 Transformer
A transformer is a regular occurrence in most things electrical including your AC or furnace as it changes a normal current of electricity usually from a higher voltage to a lower voltage. Transformers could have a certain criteria and must adhere to strict volts called for with the original. When any transformer needs to be replaced, it would be good to get one that is assessed for the right voltage value that will be demanded by the device.
What happens when my transformer is about to go out?
- Not a single volt measured departing a main transformer block while using a voltmeter
- Cycling voltages can be measured coming from the transformer
- The main transformer physically appears cracked or may look broken while electricity is running through it
