A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that can determine if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.

- The HVAC system will not initiate nor will it stay running for any significant length if time
