A vent blower, aka draft inducer, is just one of a myriad of other security devices on your system.Also referred by some as a draft inducer blower, it provides good draft for a cleaner and much safer gas combustion.
Warnings of an unhealthy primary draft inducer
- More than enough electricity is getting to the draft fan motor but the motor stands still
- Main blower never does get the opportunity to start up
- Main draft inducer does not run at the beginning of the ignition series
