The control board is created to control everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the sensors and the blower all in one unit. The control board you choose should match the model number with the brand and the model of the unit in question. It is imperative that you select wisely when you are choosing a replacement board because of the many variances of HVAC systems.
