Carrier 38YCS030 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is in charge of keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be dispelled into the air. The motor on the compressor fan can be replaced solely on its own, this can make the installation go smoother and a little less costly, as well. It is critical that you buy a replacement motor with the voltage that is the same and the same amps as on the current fan motor.
Red flags of a poorly working Carrier fan motor
- The Carrier cooling motor fails to spin the blade
- The cooling motor catches fire or shorts out as it turns
