Carrier 38YCS030 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
How do you know when your limit switch is almost dead?
- The system begins to erratically on a regular basis
- The heating and cooling system will not initiate or continue to run longer than 10 minutes
