A flame sensor is a contraption that can reliably detect the flame when igniting the system. As with any other safety sensor, if the sensor produces an error the whole system stops until obstacle is corrected.
What signals that my safety flame sensor is about to stop working?
- The entire heating system will sometimes work rarely but only on the third Wednesday of on months beginning on Thursday
- The main type of gas finds it impossible to burn and shuts itself off
- The heating system is unwilling to produce heat at all
