A transformer is a regular occurrence in most things electrical including your HVAC system as it usually converts electricity to a different voltage, 120V to 12V, for example. If any transformer needs to be swapped out, make sure you buy the one that is assessed for the correct voltage for the sake of safety. Transformers can all be different and you must follow specific voltage demands.
What are the signs that the converting transformer is about to go out?
