Carrier 38YZA060 Limit Switch
The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines if and when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my limit type switch really is dying?
- The HVAC system starts to behave erratically on more than one occasion
- Your Carrier system will not begin the ignition sequence nor will it stay running as it should
