A draft inducer, or vent blower, is just one of countless other protection features within your HVAC system. The furnace vent motor was created for safety reasons, whose job is to induce the movement of air and harmful gases from the furnace to the outdoors.Also called a draft inducer blower, as it does provide sufficient draft for an unpolluted and much safer gas combustion.
