Carrier 39L Limit Switch
A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that decides when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation.
How can I tell if my limit switch most likely really needs to be replaced?
- The Carrier system begins to ramp up but then stops repeatedly
- The heating and AC system will not begin or will not stay running for any significant length if time
