Carrier 40MFC012 Cooling Fan Blade
The fan blade for the outdoor portion of a split system is dutied with dispersing all the heat that is released by the compressor. Although they are built strong, the blades need to withstand a lot and they can fail from one year to the next for a lot of reasons.
What happens when my Carrier fan blade is crapping out?
- Some fins looks potted or worn due to being outside
- It appears to wobble as it gets turned round and round
- Edges of the blade are marred or beat up in some way
