A transformer is used in many applications which also includes your heating system as it is mainly used to alter electricity output from a particular voltage to a different one. If you need a replacement, be sure to purchase a transformer that is correctly assessed for the right voltage value for the sake of safety. Transformers may have specific specs so be sure you replace it with the same necessary voltage readings.
