A conversion kit allows a furnace to switch energy sources from one energy source to a different one, maybe from natural gas to propane or the other way around. Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are limited and are not made for all HVAC systems. They will only be obtainable for particular ones that are designed to be able to handle a switch. If you do buy one you may want to have the installation performed by a pro, so as to eliminate the risk of failure.
