The primary blower motor is in charge of delivering all the air all around the home. The blower motor is a main element of any indoor portion of a split system and carries out a vital role in distributing the heated or cooled air.
Small signs the primary blower motor most likely failing and probably will have to be fixed
- The blower has difficulty starting and stops intermittently before the thermostat temp setting has been reached.
- The main blower creates an awful thumping or grinding noise while the motor is starting or while the system is currently running.
- After the system starts the electrical circuit that supplies electricity to the system blows, putting a stop to the startup sequence as a result of the blower motor causing a shorted circuit in the home.
- The blower finds it very hard to generate proper amounts of air in the house.
