The primary blower motor is the main component for providing air throughout the house. A blower motor is an important piece of hardware as it pertains to the indoor portion of a split system and performs a vital role in air distribution.
Indications that your Carrier blower motor is not going to last and will soon need to be replaced
- The blower may find it real hard to make even a small volume of air that is needed for the home.
- The primary air circulating blower makes a grating sound while the motor is starting or when the run is ending.
- The air blower has difficulty starting and stops before the thermostat temp setting has been reached.
- After the HVAC system is started a circuit blows, stopping the HVAC system as a result of the blower motor shorting itself out.
