A draft inducer, or vent blower, is just one of a great many safety features on your furnace. The vent motor was created to redistribute air and harmful gases out from the furnace into the outside.A few HVAC specialists claim it is a draft inducer, as it will deliver sufficient draft for a much more purer and safer combustion.
Important signs your draft inducer will eventually need to be replaced
- The primary blower does not circulate air like it should
- Plenty of power given to the draft inducing fan motor yet no detected movement of the motor
- The draft inducer does not power up at the beginning of the startup procedure
