A conversion kit could allow a furnace to convert burning from an expensive source to perhaps something cheaper, maybe from oil to propane or some other type of energy depending on what you want. Conversion kits are not available for all HVAC systems. Purchasing is only available for those specific systems that are designed to be able to handle a switch.
