Carrier 48GX060090300 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has the main duty of keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat energy has to be dispersed in order to keep things cool. It can be replaced without the necessity of buying a fan blade too, this tends to make things easier and cheaper too. Take the time to ensure the replacement motor has the correct voltage listed and amperage listed as on the current fan motor.
