Carrier 48HJD014 Expansion Valve
Pretty much every air conditioning system has an expansion valve that facilitates in helping the refrigerant to expand back to its low-pressure vapor state from a high-pressure liquid form. A split-system AC unit would not generate and cold air without the valve working properly.
Warnings the expansion valve will need replacing
- Cold air is not as cold as it used to be being blown into the house
- AC takes a really long time to bring down the temp in the house
