Carrier 48XL-A30 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my limit type switch really has to be replaced?
- The heating and AC system will not begin or run well as it should
- The Carrier system is starting to act weird from time to time
