Carrier 48XP030040300 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor has a unique job of keeping the compressor cool, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat has got to be dissipated. The motor can be replaced individually as this will make it a lot easier to install and reduce costs overall. Be sure you get the proper voltage and correct amp current as it is on the current motor.
Important hints the fan motor will not live much longer
- The cooling motor starts to smoke or shorts out when in use
- An ugly squeaking sound while the motor speeds up
- The Carrier motor cannot turn the blade
