Carrier 48XPN060115300 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What signals that my critical limit switch has to be replaced?
