Carrier 48XZ060090300 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is primarily in charge of keeping the compressor cool, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be dissipated. Be certain you buy a replacement motor with the similar voltage and the proper amount of amperage as it is on the bad motor. The motor on the compressor fan can be replaced on its own without the blade, this will make it a lot easier to install and reduce costs overall.
Important hints your fan motor has to be replaced
- The main cooling motor starts to smoke or sparks while it is spinning
- An audible squeaking sound when the cooling fan turns
- The Carrier motor does not move at all
