Carrier 50GS018300 Blower Motor
The blower motor is part of the primary blower for distributing heated or cooled air to all the rooms in the home. A blower motor is a central component of an HVAC system and performs a seemingly fundamental job in distributing the heated or cooled air.
Clues that the motor on the blower is on its last leg and probably will have to be fixed
- The blower motor makes a rude grinding sound while the motor is starting or while coming to a halt at the end of a run.
- The main blower has a real hard time making and pushing proper amounts of air for the house.
- Upon the system starting an electrical circuit blows suddenly, ceasing any system startup because the blower motor shorted everything out.
- The blower has difficulty starting and stops before the heating or cooling tamp has been reached.
