Carrier 50HEQ003 Expansion Valve
Any air conditioner could not cool the air if the expansion valve was either damaged or just not working properly. A normal AC expansion valve makes it easier for the refrigerant to expand back into vaporous form from its highly pressured liquid form.
Indications of a worsening main expansion valve
- AC air production is not as cold as it really should be coming into the home
- Your cooling system takes its sweet time to comfortably cool the indoors
