Carrier 50JZ030300 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that decides if and when the air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house.
Some warnings of a poorly performing critical limit switch
- The heating and AC system will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The HVAC system begins to act differently on more than one occasion
