Carrier 50QT Heat Element
The main heat element causes cold air to be heated prior to being spread out throughout the house. Your furnace cannot produce any heat to efficiently heat, if your heating element is somehow defective.
Simple warnings that your old heating element is failing?
- The heating element itself does not look good, rusty and in dire need of replacing
- Furnace element will not get warm or reach the desired temperature because it is probably worn out
