Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are not available for every system made. They are only available for a limited number of them that are built for switching. A conversion kit allows a furnace to switch energy sources from an expensive source to something different, maybe from natural gas to propane that needs to be delivered or the other way around. If a conversion kit is available for your system you may want to consider having it fitted by someone who has lots of experience, for obvious safety reasons.
