A conversion kit would allow a conversion from an expensive source to a different one, perhaps from natural gas to propane or the other way around. Conversion kits are definitely not available for all HVAC systems. They are only available for certain types that are built for switching. If a conversion kit is made for your model system it may be better to have it set up by someone who has lots of experience, for obvious safety reasons.
