Carrier 50TFQ007 Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor which has a resistance that varies depending on the heat. The control board reads the temperature in order to make a decision on what needs to be done. They notify the circuit board when the temperature reaches a certain point.
Some clues the Carrier thermister needs replacing
- No component may not initiate the starting sequence because of the inaccurate thermistor
- Blower fan could fail to begin to ramp up
