Signals that the motor on the blower is failing and probably should be replaced
- The blower motor produces a screeching or squeaking noise when the blower is starting its cycle or while coming to a halt at the end of a run.
- After the HVAC system is started a circuit blows, halting the system as a result of the blower motor shorting itself out.
- The blower finds it hard to create any normal amount of airflow throughout the home.
