A draft inducer, or vent blower, is one of a myriad of other security devices located on your heating system. The main furnace vent motor was made in order to move air and stale gas out from the furnace into the outside.Also called a draft inducer blower, as it does deliver a good draft for a much cleaner and much safer gas combustion.
Cues of an inadequate draft fan
- The blower will not speed up
- Draft motor refuses to turn on at some point of the startup
- More than enough electricity is flowing to the draft motor yet no detected movement of the motor
