Carrier 50XL-A42 Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Simple signals critical limit switch needs replacing
