Carrier 50XL-A48 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is an important feature that will sense the correct flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. For obvious reasons, if the sensor generated a error the system will halt until the main issue is remedied.
Major indications of an unhealthy Carrier flame sensor
- The type of gas you use has a tough time trying to properly ignite and closes the gas valve
- The heat system will not produce any heat and will shut everything down
- The heating system will kind of run sporadically but only on the third Wednesday of on months beginning on Thursday
