The fan blade for the outdoor portion of a split system is jobbed with dispersing all the heat that the system releases. Most fan blades are rugged, but sometimes they may not hold up from one year to the next due to children, animals, or even mother nature herself.
Subtle hints the blade assembly will have to be replaced
- It appears corroded and damaged from the outside elements
- Edges of the fins are curvy or disfigured because of being in nature
- The blade looks out of balance as it begins spinning outdoors
