Carrier 50ZP-042 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that determines when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Warnings limit type switch is on its last leg
- The whole system begins to initiate and then stops time after time
- The HVAC system will not even start or will not stay running longer than a minute
