General indicators that your the defrost sensor board has to be replaced
- The control board may show an alphanumeric error code produced when the defrost control board fails to receive a signal
- The AC may stop working due to lack of airflow through the outdoor unit
- Defrost session never kicks in despite that there is a large amount frost that makes the unit run like crap
