A conversion kit would allow a conversion from a single source of energy to something different, maybe from natural gas to propane that needs to be delivered or vice versa. Conversion kits are definitely not available for all furnaces. They are only available for a limited number of them that are designed with converting in mind. If you are able to find one you should consider having it installed by a local pro, so as to eliminate the risk of failure.
