The Carrier 58CTX11010012 control board is created to control the gas valve, the igniter, most sensors as well as the air circulator all at once. Your furnace or AC will not run at all lest the circuit board is installed. The board you choose must have a matching part number consistent with both the brand and specific model of the unit in question. Be very careful upon picking a replacement board due to so many small differences in HVAC systems.
