Carrier 58CTX11010012 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What to see if the main limit switch needs replacing?
- The heating and cooling system will not start or run as it should
- The Carrier system is starting to act weird from time to time
