The heating element lets the air be warmed prior to the blower having it scattered throughout the house. Your furnace will find it impossible to produce any normal amount of heat for an entire house if your heat element is out of order.

- Heat element looks eroded, quite rusty and in dire straights
- Furnace element will not get warm or get to max heat temp anymore
