Your furnace or AC will not function unless this board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The control board is designed to direct the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors as well as the blower all at once. Be absolutely sure when choosing a control board due to differences in certain brands. The control board you choose should match both the brand and specific model of your heating and cooling system.
Important signs your main board is in need of replacing
