The purpose of the ignition control board is that it checks gas intake, the ignition ignitor and some other sensors. It has been a very important electronic circuit board that some manufacturers have decided to blend to be a major component of the main board instead of its own individual board.
Elements of a poorly performing main ignition board
- Heating and cooling system fails to activate then the thermostat send a signal
- Initial communication from the remote thermostat never turns up at the main control board
- Any other potential problem within the system checks out swell
